Daily Assembly: A Unique Lesson of Tradition and Discipline Daily assembly is an integral part of the educational life of Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School. In continuation of the tradition and discipline of the school since its inception, this assembly has been held before the start of daily educational activities since its inception. Times have changed, various changes have occurred in the education system; but this long tradition of the school's daily assembly remains intact even today. Every morning, the students of the school gather in rows in the vast open field of the school at the appointed time. The daily assembly held in this open courtyard of the school in the vicinity of the fresh air of the Padma River and the immense beauty of nature, on the one hand creates vitality, and on the other hand, discipline, punctuality and sense of responsibility are developed among the students. The assembly is conducted in a disciplined manner under the leadership of the sports teacher. The sports teacher plays an important role in various activities of the assembly, including making the students stand in rows, doing physical exercises and providing necessary instructions. The school principal and other teachers regularly attend the assembly to monitor the overall activities and encourage the students. The daily assembly usually includes the national anthem, oath/pledge, physical exercise, moral and educational instructions, and important announcements of the school. Inter-branch Wall Magazine Festival 2026

Inter-School Wall Festival 2026 A unique event of tradition, creativity and literary practice Since its establishment, the traditional Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School has maintained a reputation as one of the most notable educational institutions of Louhajang Thana, the then Munshiganj subdivision, in education, culture, co-curricular activities and sports. In continuation of that tradition, the school has organized an exceptional and creative initiative - 'Inter-School Wall Festival 2026'. Currently, there are a total of 14 class branches in the school. Out of these, 12 branches are participating in this year's Wall Festival. In each branch, a lively activity of making Walls is going on with the spontaneous participation of students. A maximum of 10 students from a branch are getting the opportunity to participate in this activity. Wall - A school of literature and creativity Wall is an important medium for developing literary practice, reading habits, creativity and own thinking among students. Through wall paintings, students get the opportunity to present their own perspectives on poems, stories, essays, rhymes, paintings, science, history, society and various contemporary issues. Once upon a time—especially in the seventies, eighties and nineties—school management regularly published two to three wall paintings a year. Wall paintings, as one of the most important parts of the school's co-curricular activities, played an important role in the creative development of students. But since the first decade of the 21st century, the trend of regularly publishing wall paintings in educational institutions has gradually decreased due to various reasons. Currently, some educational institutions publish wall paintings on the occasion of special days or under the direction of the Ministry of Education, but this practice is almost absent in many institutions. In this reality, the 'Inter-School Wall Painting Festival 2026' of Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School is undoubtedly an exceptional and commendable initiative. Spontaneous participation of students Each branch has been given four days to prepare the wall paintings. However, due to the interest, enthusiasm and creative participation of the students, some branches completed their wall paintings in just two days and some branches in three days. This spontaneous participation of the students is truly impressive. The sincerity with which they are making wall paintings using their thoughts, talent, creativity and sense of art has presented a vivid picture of the co-educational activities of the school. Although the wall painting process is supposed to be completed next Monday as per the schedule, the work of most branches is already in its final stage. It is expected that 10-11 branches will complete their wall painting work by Sunday. Connecting the new with tradition The 'Inter-School Wall Painting Festival 2026' organized at Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School is not just an event for making wall paintings; it is a unique field for students to practice literature, study habits, creativity, teamwork, leadership qualities and self-expression. Debate Competition Organized by Corruption Prevention Committee, Louhajang Upazila-2026 Runner-up Brahmangaon Bahumukhi High School with 222 The traditional Brahmangaon Bahumukhi High School has successfully participated in the final round of the inter-upazila secondary school level debate competition organized by the Louhajang Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee and has become the runner-up. In the final round, Kazirpagla Abhay Talukder Institution and Brahmangaon Bahumukhi High School faced each other. Debate Competition organized by Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee-Louhjang-2025

Today, September 18, 2025, the debate competition organized by the Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee-Louhjang was held. The auditorium was filled with the presence of students from 14 institutions of the upazila throughout the day from 9 am to 5 pm at the Louhjang Girls Pilot High School venue. Each contestant in a 3-member team was evaluated out of 100 marks. The total marks allocated for each team was 300. 3 learned judges did the marking through careful analysis. Brahmangaon Bahumukhi High School participated in it. Although it was defeated in the 1st round (qualification phase) and match - 1: by getting 19 marks less. The mural was officially unveiled today through a program organized in the school premises. During this time, enthusiasm was created among the teachers and students of the school. The mural ‘Climate and Public Life’ highlights the causes and effects of climate change, global warming, environmental pollution, tree plantation, biodiversity conservation and various challenges created on people’s lives and livelihoods due to climate change. Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School celebrates the Great Ekushey February, also known as 'Martyrs' Day' and 'International Mother Language Day', with great solemnity and dignity every year on 21st February. Key aspects of the celebration Respect for language martyrs: The heroic martyrs of the language movement (such as Barkat, Salam, Rafiq, Jabbar, etc.) are remembered by placing wreaths at the school's Shaheed Minar. International Mother Language Day: Since its recognition by UNESCO on 17th November 1999, the day has been celebrated all over the world since 2000 with the conviction of protecting the rights and diversity of mother languages of different countries. Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School organizes cultural programs and discussions, meetings, seminars, morning processions and painting competitions.
