Inter-School Wall Festival 2026 A unique event of tradition, creativity and literary practice Since its establishment, the traditional Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School has maintained a reputation as one of the most notable educational institutions of Louhajang Thana, the then Munshiganj subdivision, in education, culture, co-curricular activities and sports. In continuation of that tradition, the school has organized an exceptional and creative initiative - 'Inter-School Wall Festival 2026'. Currently, there are a total of 14 class branches in the school. Out of these, 12 branches are participating in this year's Wall Festival. In each branch, a lively activity of making Walls is going on with the spontaneous participation of students. A maximum of 10 students from a branch are getting the opportunity to participate in this activity. Wall - A school of literature and creativity Wall is an important medium for developing literary practice, reading habits, creativity and own thinking among students. Through wall paintings, students get the opportunity to present their own perspectives on poems, stories, essays, rhymes, paintings, science, history, society and various contemporary issues. Once upon a time—especially in the seventies, eighties and nineties—school management regularly published two to three wall paintings a year. Wall paintings, as one of the most important parts of the school's co-curricular activities, played an important role in the creative development of students. But since the first decade of the 21st century, the trend of regularly publishing wall paintings in educational institutions has gradually decreased due to various reasons. Currently, some educational institutions publish wall paintings on the occasion of special days or under the direction of the Ministry of Education, but this practice is almost absent in many institutions. In this reality, the 'Inter-School Wall Painting Festival 2026' of Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School is undoubtedly an exceptional and commendable initiative. Spontaneous participation of students Each branch has been given four days to prepare the wall paintings. However, due to the interest, enthusiasm and creative participation of the students, some branches completed their wall paintings in just two days and some branches in three days. This spontaneous participation of the students is truly impressive. The sincerity with which they are making wall paintings using their thoughts, talent, creativity and sense of art has presented a vivid picture of the co-educational activities of the school. Although the wall painting process is supposed to be completed next Monday as per the schedule, the work of most branches is already in its final stage. It is expected that 10-11 branches will complete their wall painting work by Sunday. Connecting the new with tradition The 'Inter-School Wall Painting Festival 2026' organized at Brahmangaon Multipurpose High School is not just an event for making wall paintings; it is a unique field for students to practice literature, study habits, creativity, teamwork, leadership qualities and self-expression. This festival is a beautiful example of the fact that co-educational activities are an integral part of education along with studies. The initiative taken by the school by combining the long-standing tradition with the creativity of the new generation is undoubtedly commendable.
